Cover Pic: Summer camp's over for another year.

Some of our budding stars.

The Summer Camps have come to an end for this year and we are delighted to say they were a huge success. In total with the 5 camps combined we had a estimated 850 children. A lot of work went on in the background to make sure that both football and hurling skills were coached to the highest standard and of course great fun was had along the way. Special thanks to Naoise, Donagh and Anne for getting things up and running for all 5 camps. Thanks to Liam O'Cúlbaird for making sure our Campa Samhraidh 2022 was a great success again this year combining our games and Irish language. Again our young Helpers and Coaches did an amazing job and your hard work doesn't go unnoticed by all.

Thanks to all our Coaches and Helpers

Congratulations to the two Fingallians men Peter Murtagh and Richie Herity on beating Kerry last weekend in the semi final and getting through to the All Ireland Masters Final. They now go on to play Tyrone in the Final on 10th September.

Adult Games

Another great win for our Adult Camogie team tonight as they played Erins Isle at home in the Junior 1 Championship. A superb second half saw Fins run out 4-11 to 3-03 winners.

Our Senior Mens Footballers lost out to St. Maurs in Rush last Saturday, but all is not lost as we will play St Annes at home on Saturday Sept 3rd in our final group game to try to get that play off spot.
Our Junior 1 team lost out to Raheny, while our Junior 2 team had a good win over Na Fianna.

Our Senior Ladies took on Ballinteer St. John last Wednesday at home. It was a another good win for the girls winning 0-13 to 1-08. This week they will be taking on Skerries in Skerries at 7.15.

U/16 Camogie

Our U16 camogie team had a super trip to Rathnure Co. Wexford last weekend. Saturday started off with a game against a strong St Annes team which was followed by a quiz that night. On Sunday all the girls had a training session run by Ger O'Connor, followed by team building games with both teams. The trip finished off with a hike up the Blackstairs Mountains. A great time was had by all.

U/15 Camogie
This week saw six of our U15's supporting our Camogie Minors for Championship on Sunday v Lucan, this meant we amazingly saw 3 sets of sisters playing together.

Well done to our U/15's who played with the Minor girls - Sophie McKeating, Niamh Barrett, Sophie Fearon, Ciara Barrett, Éabha Gargan & Aisling Cawley.

Three sets of Sisters: Abigail & Sophie McKeating; Niamh, Éabha & Ciara Barrett; Éabha and Keelagh Gargan.

We had 2 teams enter, our Red team won all 5 games and won their final match with the winning score coming from a Kyle Corby free.

Our Green team lost their semi final match to the eventual winners but went on to win the shield final.

Well done to Darragh Rafferty who got player of the Tournament

Well done also to our U/11 boys who took part in a Hurling blitz in Balheary on Saturday. We had 2 clubs visiting, Donaghmore Ashbourne and Rathoath.
