Cover Pic: Congratulations to our Div 3 Féile Champions

Probably the main event on the Juvenile Calendar, Féile it never fails to thrill both players and supporters. The highs, the lows and everything in between and last weekend was no different. Fortunately, this year the girls got to return to the old format of games being played over the weekend. The boys however, were still in the round robin system but nonetheless a great day was had by all.

First up was our Fingallians White Féile Squad who had a great start against their hosts, Ballinteer St. John's but they were unable to overcome St. Judes & St. Olafs despite their excellent play. Ballinteer went on to win the group. A huge thanks to Darren and all the crew in Ballinteer St. John's GAA that made it such a wonderful day for our girls.

Meanwhile out in Balbriggan our Fingallians Red Team in Div3 had 3 great wins against O'Dwyer’s, Skerries and Erin go Bragh. This set them up for the final v St Maurs the following day in Bremore Pk. Balbriggan. It was a glorious day for a final and the girls did us proud with a super win 4-7 to 2-1. Congratulations girls and congrats and thanks to all mentors, coaches and all involved. Thanks to all in O'Dwyers for a well run weekend.

Presentation to the Div. 3 Féile Champions

The boys U/15s have been playing in their Féile round robin groups over the past 2 months. Both teams having played 5 games ended up in their respective Shield Finals. The second team had their final in Skerries and worked very hard from the get go against a strong wind. Ahead at the half time whistle they drove on to win comprehensively with the wind. Congratulations boys and congratulations to mentors, coaches and all involved.

Captain Rían Lynch with mentor Brian Lynch

Another great win for our first team in Whitehall. Down by 7 points at half time they came back to win by 6. Super stuff lads. Great celebrations after the game with the Captain Andrew O Chleirigh giving a great speech after thanking everyone.
